Avoid products in Search results

Hello Team,

One of our client Maria Tash is using searchanise.  We have to hide some product from search results but we have to show them in catalog. We kept their visibility as catalog so that those products will not found in search results, but is is still showing in search resutls. PFA of screenshot for more information.

Also we are using multiple stores but we want to have searchanise functionality for main store only to avoid extra load on server. May i know how we can do that?

Please let us solutions asap on high priority.

Thanks.

Products with Status=Enabled and Visibility="Search" or "Catalog, Search" are exported only. If the product has Visibility="Catalog" it will not be displayed in search results. Please click the Force re-indexation button in the Dashboard section in the Searchanise control panel, wait until indexation is complete and check the results.

In order to disable Searchanise for a certain store view, please follow these steps:

1. Open the app/code/community/Simtech/Searchanise/Helper/ApiSe.php file of your Magento installation.

2. Find the Simtech_Searchanise_Helper_ApiSe class.

3. Add the list of store view IDs in which Searchanise should operate to the $seStoreIds array.

4. Save the file.

In order to learn IDs of store views, please follow these steps:

1. Please open the "Edit Store View": System -> Manage stores page in admin panel of your store. Click on the store view name in the Store View Name field.

2. Please find value of the store_id variable in the address bar of your browser. For example, http://.../admin/system_store/editStore/store_id/4/key/97c5345f418dfb834ea1d2189d4d1e1e/ - store ID is 4.

For example, store view IDs are 4 and 5, so the line should be the following in the app/code/community/Simtech/Searchanise/Helper/ApiSe.php file of your Magento installation:

public static $seStoreIds = array('4','5');

Please let us know when these changes are made to the app/code/community/Simtech/Searchanise/Helper/ApiSe.php file of your Magento installation and send us an e-mail to feedback@searchanise.com with API keys of your store views for which Searchanise should be disabled.

Thank you.
